Habanero Harvest

Our plant is loaded with numerous flowers still to produce the spiciest of all fruits. Just one of the suckers goes a long way. I'm also growing jalapeños and red peppers (cayenne). The jalapeños have amazing flavor that we like to add to numerous dishes (minus the spicy seeds) while the red peppers kick up the heat (even without seeds). In this picture, you can see some of the jalapeños in the back.

My habaneros look like yours.
How do I know when to pick them?

Wait until they turn color. Ours are bright orange now. They will keep on the plant for quite some time. Be sure to wear gloves when picking, they are super potent!
