"What's this random assortment of posts about?" you ask. As a teacher, time moves at a youthful pace; limiting reflection opportunities. All posts/images/video are sent by mobile phone, on location, in the moment. With cell phone in hand, I find only moments to snapshot the essence of daily life and adventure.

Collecting Stream Data
Buster and Ryan are collecting data along the upper creek at James Reserve. Several locations were tested for water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and pH. Meanwhile, I was able to find several aqautic invertebrates including predacious diving beetles, water striders, back swimmers, silver beetles, and caddisfly larvae.
